Have you ever seen a boxing match?
At the end of each round, when the boxer retreats to their corner, there is always someone there to greet them. Someone to take care of them between rounds, pump them up and keep their energy and focus on the task at hand.
Every single boxer all has a Coach.
We all need someone in our corner, don't we? Someone to encourage us and tell us to "get back out there" when a round doesn't go as planned.
And sure, many of us are blessed with friends and family who are there for us but they have their own lives, right? And the last thing we want is to feel like a burden.
So who does that leave us with? If we want to spare our friends and family the messiness of our emotions - who is there to greet us when we retreat to our corner between rounds?
Do you have this person in your life?
Think about it - every boxer worth their salt has someone in their corner, shouting encouragement, patching them up between rounds, and keeping their spirits high. But for us regular folks, it's not always easy to find that kind of unwavering support. Of course, our friends and family might cheer us on from the sidelines, but they've got their own fights to deal with, right?
So, who's there for us when we need a pep talk or a kick in the pants? Who's gonna give us that tough love and push us towards greatness?
Having someone who sees your potential, even when you can't, is like striking gold. They're the ones who'll cheer you on when you're winning and kick your butt when you're slacking.
If you're nodding along thinking, "Yeah, I could use someone like that," then it might be time to invest in some Coaching.
Because in this crazy game of life, having a reliable teammate can make all the difference between throwing in the towel and going the distance.
Til next time!
